After drilling the holes, we're going to slip in the
LED bezels in place. They should slip right in if you made
your holes correctly.
Next, unscrew the top nut on each
switch. You're going to need this to secure the switches to
For demonstration purposes, I am going to
hook up a few of my Panaflo bare wired fans to the the bay bus.
Red goes in the red screw down and black in the black. Get a
small flat headed screw driver, it will definitely help you out in
tightening the screws.
Here is the final result. You may
have to give the LED bezels a little force to get them all the way
onto the LEDs. A little tight so push very gently. Also,
hand tighten the screws. You don't want to over tighted it and
break the darn thing.
Here is the bay bus in our test case with
the outer two switches running full speed and middle two at about
7V. We ran it for about a full day to see if the bay bus would
get warm or hot, nothing of that sort was apparent. The device
ran rather cool I might add.
Overall, the device is excellent.
The complete kits comes with all the parts you need. There is
also an instruction sheet which we didn't even bother to follow
(oops). The item does what it's supposed to do, quiet a case
down when you need it.
