-- PSU Covers

The next items for us to take a look are a couple of Sunbeam's new PSU covers. They have colored varieties and some with fan holes pre-cut. Here are the two that I received, a solid blue and a clear one with a fan cutout.

PSU covers are a great way to reduce the visual mass of a PSU if your side window is large. Also, the acrylic allows for PSU lighting. The covers come with instructions on how to install and also includes a set of Velcro strips.

With everything going crystal clear acrylic, my biggest problem is finding a way to take a picture of it where you can see the product.

Here is my favorite of the two, the blue cover. The cover has a slight tint if you are looking straight into it, and it would be very hard to discern this as any other color than blue without a white background.

Here is the blue cover mounted on a PSU. I understand that you could never make mounting holes in these things for every PSU, but I just don't think Velcro is the best look for this product, maybe drilling the cover and using the PSU screws would be a better option.

Here is the money shot for the blue PSU cover. I think it makes a pretty big impression and I might include one in my next case.
