We have a lot of items to look at so we will
start with the parts in the kit and the next page we will take a look at the CCFL and mounting. First off is the slot cover with SPST
(single pull, single throw) slide switch already mounted and wired. The switch is actually a SPDT so if you wanted to switch between 2 functions you could mod the wiring. Overall the wire length is 17 inches from the plate to the CCFL inverter and about 20 inches from the Molex Y-splitter.
The fan has 2 sets of wires coming from it, 1 that goes to the CCFL, which is about 10 inches long and the power connector which is about 20 inches.
The power connector has a built in 3 pin to 4 pin adapter. Since I do not know the amperage draw of this fan, if you are going to hook it up directly to a
motherboard header you should re-wire the 3 pin so that only the RPM wire will work.
