This grill is very different than most fan grills because of its odd size.
It is 80mm at the corners and just under 90mm at the bulge. The grill is about 12mm thick including the standoffs. Here is a shot of one of the standoffs. It is 5mm's high from the bottom of the grill and the holes are about 3/16" in diameter.
unit is made of 2 pieces of clear plastic that is loosely pressed together to contain the bare CCFL. I am not sure how they assemble this because when I tried to take it apart I was afraid of breaking the very fragile ends of the lamp.
Here is a shot of how the wires are routed in this grill. Most modern CCFL's have a bare wire running inside the acrylic tube so that both ends exit 1 side. I am not sure why Lamps Electronics chose this method as it does add addition thickness to the grill.
Here is a shot of the fan intentionally taken out of focus to show how much area is open for airflow. The one thing that is really a plus is the acrylic used on this grill is very clear.
The screws are 2 inches long (5mm) and include a plastic standoff and a different color nut. The plastic standoff does not fit into the grill so I am not sure what their true purpose is.
