I can't say that I'm not terribly pleased with this product. I
have used several of Thermal Takes products in the past, and I have
always been very happy with the quality and performance with their
gear. This time however, they seem to have fallen horribly short
of the mark. It seems that they tried to make a really low
budget rheobay that anyone could pick up and install. What they
got was a cheap rheobay that is very low quality and is confusing to
install. Putting something like a fan control device should be
very straightforward and simple. However this product just has
way too many connections and wires to deal with for someone who isn't
very comfortable poking around inside their case, and it was just
those sort of people that it seems to be marketed for.
Pros:
- Can control 4 fans
- Support for 1 large fan
- Low Price
- Mounting space for hard drive
Cons:
- Wiring mess is horrible
- Overly complex connections
- Poor voltage adjustment
- Appearance
- Directions were very poorly written and unhelpful
