Today we have another fun and color filled item for review. As
many people who frequent GT know, we like lights. Whether it be case,
fan or even house lighting, we're good for it. So a few days
ago, a new item from the folks at
Flexiglow landed on my lap. They just released their new Fx
Game Pad to the masses.

Here are some features:
7 Colors options in one pad choices (green,
red, blue, yellow, purple, aqua, mixed blue)
Eight function is automatic cycle through the
seven colours
Incredible lit up bubble effect
Gaming enthusiast approved mousing surface
Terrific night time illumination – ideal for
LAN parties
Low power consumption LED lights
USB Cable 1.8m
Slick mousing surface that works well with
both Ball and Optical Mice
Roughly 22cm X 26cm
It's basically a hard mousing surface
wrapped with clear plastic with bubbles. They added 4
multi-colored LEDs in the middle to light things up. Here is a
shot of the bubbles within the clear outside plastic, pardon the color
as I was trying to enhance the bubbles for viewing.

The user is allowed to adjust these
colors by using a button at the top of the unit. The rubber
button sticks out about a 1mm from the surface. It stopped my
mouse a few times by getting in it's way. So instead of
avoiding it all together, I took a hobby knife and chopped it off.

The bottom of the unit has four rubber
feet to keep it in place. They include two extra self-adhesive
feet. I need to use them at the top and bottom because if I
pressed hard enough, it would start moving either forward or back.
So the two extra feet were used to stabilize the surface a bit more.
