After reviewing BeingSeen's FlatLite last week, EL Custom Shop came to us looking for a comparison review.
Well I thought this was a great way to introduce EL technologies to the readers and to show the different products side by side.
When I say different, I mean it, both companies are using the same technology but are providing products with significant
differences. This is especially evident in the construction of the product and how they connect to your computers power supply.
This is the standard package including 5 feet of EL LightStrip, in this case it's blue.
EL Custom Shop adds in a lot of features that you don't typically see, like customized labels for the retailer, or in this case GideonTech. A fold out brochure with package contents, specs, installation instructions, and a few location suggestions.
Note: The brochure is 4 fold so the top 2 sides are upside down, I modified it so it would look correct for this review.
