-- Fan and Mounting
-- Page: 1 2 3 4 5 6

There is also space that you can mount a standard 3.5 hard drive inside the DD5.  There is a 40mm fan on the front that blows air directly on this space.  I never tested this feature, but it defiantly could be handy if your short on space or running a SCSI hard drive that runs a little warm.  The fan is even filtered, so it wont suck all sorts of dirt and gunk inside.  Unfortunately, the filter gets clogged very quickly, but since the fan is a very high quality Sunon you wont have to worry about it choking on the dust if you decide to just remove the filter.

After plugging everything in and triple checking your connections, its just a matter of slipping the drive in and holding it there with standard CD-ROM screws, or drive rails.
