Quality of Video and Conclusions
The player's other feature is the ability to play
VCD (video cds). Included in the package is the audio and
video cables to connect to any television set that has RCA jacks
(yellow, red and white). The VCD controls can be done through
the remote also.
To test the video capabilities of the player, I used
one of my favorites, "A Better Tomorrow 3" starring Chow
Yun Fat. Ok, maybe not my favorite, but it was the closest VCD
that was open on my desk! To start the VCD, I just inserted
the VCD and it played automatically, as simple as that. All
the features like fast forwarding can be done through the remote.
If no disc is in the player, it
defaults back to the NAPA screen shown above. Pardon the black
line across the top, that is just my flash on my camera not catching
everything.
The player does a nice job on the
video, picture is crisp and the audio is adequate. What is
great about this is that there is absolutely no load time, the
player is rather fast.
In conclusion, if you need a product
that plays cds, mp3s and VCDs, this is the one! The written
manual could have more instructions in it and the player should of
had anti shock precautions. All in all, this player is great
in the home, bad for the person who likes to jog.
