Here's the window kit fully installed in our panel:

Pretty clean look, looks a lot better
in person. This is what it looks like with the Lazer Led and
also a white CCFL tube.

The Leds are not as bright as the
single white CCFL tube. You can get a general idea of what it
looks like.
Overall, the etched window kit is
simple to use and easy to install. The instructions are laid
out very well, and comes with pictures to aid in the
installation. I actually recommend putting a CCFL behind it,
the Lazer Led just doesn't put out the light even enough to
show off the etch.
Price wise, it may be a bit higher than
other window kits available now. Do keep in mind it already
has an etch in the window, so you're saving some money in that
aspect. Only downside, you won't be able to change the design
later on.
Thanks to Nick at CrazyPC for sending
out this sample, give them a visit, they've got a lot more
interesting products for the modding crowd.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Great detailed instructions
- All materials included
- Chrome molding is a nice change for a window kit
Cons:
- Etch is permanent
- Lazer Led holder is not secure, comes off easily
