-- C3 CT1310 Clear Acrylic Case

With the increased interest in acrylic cases, more and more companies are creating the case to end all cases. This week we're taking a look at the clear acrylic unit from a new company, C3.    We have the CT1310 model, which is their base model beefed up with some extras.  There are other units available in different colors, but they are all based on the same design.

It's a pre-built case, so the packaging needs to be able to support it during shipment as shown above.  The box is supported very well with the case actually within a smaller box.  Styrofoam holds each corner to cushion the interior.

You get the case, a 3.5" adapter, bag of screws and an instruction sheet.  The case is held together with clear acrylic thumbscrews.  I thought the small speaker was a nice way to get a  speaker installed.  Saves space and the problems with mounting it inside the case.  The only place you'll need to break out the screwdriver will be when you install your own drives.  For specs, take a look over here.

C3 also sent over a few accessories that you can get through their site, we'll check that out at the end of the review.  Keep in mind, about 95% of the case and everything that went into constructing it is made of acrylic.

Also included, is a set of USB1/2 extensions so you can wire up your ports to the front of the case.  The power/reset switches and LEDs  are not installed in the case, you'll need to wire them yourself.

The flopped adapter is included just in case you need it.  It mounts into the 5.25" bays with the help of some screws.
