The unique feature of this glowing grill is the ability to switch out
the interior grill for a different design. Initially, I thought
the grill snapped onto the existing grill to give it a weird beveled
type of look. The instructions, actually, the lack of
instructions did not help. But after fiddling around with it, we
got it working the way we wanted to.
Here's what we have been waiting for,
turning the unit on:
The grill is blindingly bright!
We had this installed onto the top blowhole fan and it lit up the
area in the room. The picture above was taken with a quick
shutter to show the brightness, but overall the room has a slight
blue tint on the white walls.
Overall, the unit is easy to use and
install and is a nice addition to your current case.
Installation took about 5 minutes, screws are included if you don't
have any already. The inter-changeable interior grill is a
nice new novelty to have. The inverter has two power
connectors, so if you choose to power up two of these you will be
able to on one inverter.
- Extremely bright!
- Easy to install and use
- Inverter provides two connections
- All installation material is included, even screws
- Instructions changing out grills are not too clear on the
- CCFL tube is not removable from the plastic housing
