Well lets take a look at the FlatLite in the dark. The picture was taken from about 3 feet away and notice the brilliance of the colors. The colors are Icy blue and Kickass Orange, although I would prefer more of a true blue although this matches a blue ccfl pretty well.

Here is the FlatLite compared to a 12 inch blue cold cathode flourescent lamp(CCFL). As you can see the light output of the CCFL is significantly greater, but the colors are pretty close. The FlatLite is a good complement to a computer full of CCFL's or lite blue LED's.

Here is something I've wanted to try every since I've heard of FlatLite, install it on a fan. The fan in this picture is a Sunon 92mm and there is enough tape for at least 3 of these fans out of the 3 foot Icy Blue section in the kit.

Thanks to BeingSeen for sending us a sample of their FlatLite. Ive always been interested in what it is and how it works so I hope I've answered a few of your questions.

  • Very quiet inverter
  • Produces no heat
  • Very bright consistant color
  • Easy to work with

  • Price may be a bit high
  • Must use Super Glue or some other way of attaching FlatLite
