Overall, I really like this motherboard, but I did have some problems. First, I couldn't enable the +- 33Mhz setting on the ram, it was stuck at “by spd” which probably accounts for such high memory bandwidth benchmarks. Second, I couldn't overclock my Celeron 600 to 900, which was rock solid on my old motherboard. The max I was able to reach was 747 MHz, and even at that speed when I would reboot the computer would refuse to post. The problem was complicated more by the fact that when I dropped my brother's Celeron 600 into the board I was able to post at 900 Mhz at default voltage. But when I went to change the core voltage the computer wouldn't post, even at the default speed. I think that the problem may possibly be caused by an issue within the bios.
Thanks to Sherman over at IWill for providing us with a sample board to use in our review. Look for more IWill products as we put them through the test.
