Max Speed with Reg. Thermal Grease

700e @ 1035MHz!

As you can see in the above screens from CPU Cool, using the Arctic Silver I am able to achieve 1035MHz (148fsb) at a lower temperature! Using the supplied grease from Alpha, the max that this chip could do was 1022MHz (146fsb).

At a price tag of $15, the extra MHz may seem small but for the overclocker every bit counts in getting the most out of your investment. It also helps in that it lowers the temperature a couple of degrees.

  • Great ability to transfer heat
  • Not electrically conductive


  • May be too pricey for some people
