We tested the case out with an ABit BE6.2, C2 566 on a slocket with an Alpha PAL35T. We chose this combo to see if this case can accommodate a large heatsink on a slocket converter.

One of the features of the case is the removable motherboard tray. It is secured with thumbscrews so no tools are necessary to remove it.

The tray slides out on two rails, on the top and the bottom. It was rather simple, no rough spots so the tray slid out easily.

The installation of the Abit BE6.2 was easy too, hardest part was to get the small metal stand offs to snap in place. The tray does not use the round cylinder stand offs, but the arched U shaped metal ones. A tip would be to use a pair of pliers, my fingers were way too wide to get them in. There is one spot next to the first expansion slot that was rather hard to get to, but should be ok as long as you have a pair of pliers.

Thumbs screws secure the expansion slots in place, again no need for any tools.

Just like to add along with the quality of the case, even the metal spaces are high quality! This is probably the thickest spacers I have come across. Would be rather hard to use these to make the Poorman's Cooler : )

The motherboard fit nicely on the metal spacers and the supplied screws. Sliding the tray back into the tray almost did not work. The slocket and Alpha barely slid through. So keep in mind on the size of your cpu set up.

After sliding the tray back in, we tried out the expansion slot with a Geforce MX AGP video card. There are total of seven slots, so all your component cards should have enough space. The card lined up without any screws getting in the way. Again, they are secured with a thumb screw for easy access.

The connectors for the hard drive and power leds are bundle together. Great for air flow and all around neatness.
