Before receiving the Igloo from VIZO, I was kind of stoked to be receiving an all-in-one water cooling heatsink. Although water is not a new idea for cooling computers, the small all-in-one piece is not something you see every day. For the user who wants his or her space in their case, this might be what you are looking for.
Upon opening the box, I was met with a package not bigger than your standard air cooled heat sink. Weight wise it's also quite close to a lot of the air cooled heatsinks you see on the market .
They did some nice work on the box that it is in. Clean art work and not a slew of information.
The cardboard box is just to make sure things are protected. They also included the plastic protective case as well.
They have fit everything that is needed to keep your processor cool in a small form as well as a pump and water.
On the bottom base they have the protective cover with a warning that you need to remove it before you use it.
On the top over the fill spout you have another warning but telling you not to open the cap.
All of the extra pieces you would need to fit this heat sink on your computer are included.
They have a single fan radiator at the face of one side with a honey comb grill to protect it.
A 92mm fan on the other side comes protected with a typical wire fan grill.
They even included some thermal paste that works for patching nail holes in dorm room walls. I used Arctic Silver 5 for the thermal paste with all of the heat sinks I use. I would recommend you do the same in your own rig.
