I was originally sent the Transparent Blue version first by mistake and I would say the color looks like an old iMAC. I eventually got the Black version that I originally ordered.
Since the fan head is going to be in the way, I needed to remove it before installing it. Removing the Turbine is quite easy, just turn counter-clockwise and it comes right off. Keep in mind, this can be mounted to pull or push, it's entirely up to you.

Now lets take this over to the work bench and see what it looks like before we place it into the case. The blue LED reflects off the fan blades and you can see the reflection a little bit when the flash was used. One of the problems I can see with this line of fans is that it caters only to those that want blue in their machines. All three versions come with blue LEDs, not alternatives.

The picture below is with-out the flash using the standard auto settings for the picture. I didn't set it to ASA 400 or I am sure I would have gotten a brighter image. The image is a bit blurred using the capture feature of my camera. It gives a closer view of what it looks like in person.
