Before we go ahead and install the Iceberq 5, I wanted to make sure it would actually fit. I position the 4 ramsinks on top of the ram chips and then placed the Iceberq 5 on top of the GPU.
Doing this should let you see if the ramsinks are not in the way of the cooler. It should also clear any caps on the video card.



After you are sure of things, attach the stand offs to the bottom of the Iceberq 5. For our GeForce 6600GT, we use these two positions.

The next step was to apply the adhesive thermal tape. They are pre-cut to the correct sizes for you, just peel back the sheet to use them.

After sticking the ramsinks onto the ram chips, I applied a bit of Arctic Silver 5 onto the GPU. I decided against using the included thermal paste as I've always had great results with Arctic Silver 5.

After placing the Iceberq 5 on top of the slug, we'll need to fasten it to the video card using the supplied screws and bracket. We will be using the longer B bracket.


Make sure you don't over tighten the screws.
