Ok, we have looked at the 2 larger fans. We will now look at the 80mm fan we received. The fan speed is on par with others that I own at 2500 RPM. The power level is better than the Cooler Master fan that I have because it uses only 1.8W of power. Again A.C.Ryan has a nice quiet fan compared to the Cooler Master fan at 25 dBA.
The fan has a dark pink look to it, but it is more red that some of the CCFLs I see people marketing as red. The LEDs in all of the fans are held in place with some Hot Glue. On the Red fans it stands out more than the others as being a bigger drop and not as transparent.

It is not enough, however, to take away from the fan as a whole. All of the Fans have been sleeved and also have matching UV plugs on there pig tails. Saves time from having to do it ourselves. It also glows well with the UV LED's, changing from a dark pink to a light purple color.

Now that we have examined the fans, lets take a look at the fan grills we also received. They are the MeshX and arepowder coated black. The holes in this mesh are .7mm. I did get 2 120mm grills along with one 80mm grill.

I did get the Quality Control Department approval on the Fans and Grills as she looked them over as I was unpacking the package. The 120mm grills and 80mm come in the same package with a sticker on the back.

With one of the fans being used right away, I might as well use the MeshX grill as it will give me something to test the air flow with it on. The grills look good on acrylic with the fans behind them.

As I run the fan with the grill on, I can feel a noticeable difference in the amount of air that is moving. It is blocking about 50% of the air with no noticeable noise change. Thye also block some of the visual effects that the LED fans have, but there still is a nice glow.

Overall I am impressed with these fans as they do move large amounts of air, as well as keep pace with everyone else's offerings in terms of looks and noise. The colors are nice and bright with and without the UV lighting, and the option to have the LEDs on or off via the main power lead is a plus as well. Because of this, you are able to lower the voltage on the fans and still have the LED glowing at full brightness, but running the LED on there own power rail. The Grills are powder coated nicely and fit the fans well, but they do cut the amount of air flow down quite significantly.
