With the side panels in place, I was ready to move on to the front panel. Now I had my base and rear panel fully constructed. Since these panels were a full 1/4" thick, I needed to do nothing more with them. At this point, the sides and front were only 1/8" thick. I needed to add another panel to make them the full 1/4".

Adding the second panel is fairly simple. First, I removed all of the backing from both sheets. I then slid the panels into place one by one, gluing them at the top and to the base. If you do a case this way make sure you have a clamp holding the two panels together. Otherwise you will have bubbles form between sheets.

Other than the seam at the top, its very difficult to tell that they are two separate panels.
This concludes part one of the project. In the next guide, I will go through mounting drives, cleaning up scratches, and prepping the case for hardware.
