Of course Sunbeam had more than carrying things in mind when they designed this bag.  There are several products out there that can carry a case around.  Sunbeam also built the bag to protect your case.

The outer cloth is a canvas like material that is incredibly strong, but the material on the inside is very soft and won't scratch up your case.  It's also padded very well. 

There is also little area that is exposed.  All sides, including the top and bottom, have a good deal of protection.  While it's not going to keep the case from getting damaged by everything that is out there, it's certainly a lot better than nothing at all.
