The modules come wrapped in basic sealed anti-static bags.

Our sample came with flat black heatspreaders.

Instead of breaking apart the heatspreaders, I asked Lee over at Mushkin what chips they used. The LII V2s utilize the Samsung TCCD chips, which are quite the delight of overclockers. These are usually rated DDR500 CL3, with some people going beyond that.
