As you can see, the mouse has all sorts of room to move before it hits the edge.  I can more my mouse all over the entire screen and never even come close to hitting the edge of the pad.

Keep in mind; this is not a mousepad for everyone.  People that do not have a lot of spare real estate on their desk aren't going to appreciate a mousepad this size.  Fortunately, I have a very large desk, so this is not a problem for me, but I know people with desks this would never fit on.
