As you may already know, I prefer large mousepads.  While I knew that XTrac was sending me a big mousepad, I was totally blown away by the sheer size of the Ripper XL.

Here is what the pad looks like compared to my Mac and Cheese measuring device.  As you can see, this pad is absolutely enormous.  It is at least twice the size of anything I have seen previously.  According to XTrac, the Ripper XL is 14 inches high and 17 3/4 inches wide.

The Ripper XL is probably a good 3 times the size of my Everglide mousepad, and I considered the Everglide mousepad to be plenty big.
