These days most everyone in the modding community runs round IDE cables in their computers.  What was once a time consuming and risky process of rounding your own cables has now been replaced by manufactured cables that are round right out of the box.  Wisetech has sent us some samples of their new ATA 100/133 round cables for us to take a look at.  With good looks and good performance, these just might be the cables you have been looking for.

On the chopping block we have two 60cm (23.6in) cables.  One cable is black while the other is UV blue.

According to the information supplied to me with the cables, the final retail packaging will be identical with the exception of some wording changes.  The cardboard inserts give you all the relevant information without too much clutter.  I normally have issues with this sort of plastic packaging, but in this case I was able to open them without too much trouble.
