Now that we have the package open, we can take a look at the
drive itself.


The drive is approximately the size and shape of a package of
chewing gum. The sides have a black grooved surface so you can grip the
drive more easily when removing it.


The DataTraveler Elite also comes with a nifty detachable lanyard.

They have it set up so you can use your keys on it as well.

I did have some minor trouble attaching the drive itself to the
lanyard. The cord meant to through the little hole in the drive absolutely
refused to make the necessary 90-degree angle. My solution was to use a
pushpin to grab it and coax it up and out the top. Not a serious design
flaw by any means, but something of an annoyance.

After you get it though and loop it, you should get something that
looks like this.
