The package comes with a remote with numerous options. I've noticed you would have to point directly at the Media Player to actually use it.

Once your Media Player comes on, you should be greeted with a welcome screen. If you are using it wirelessly, you should see this setup screen:

You will need to enter in your wireless SSID and WEP key (hopefully you have this enabled!). Once you have that set, it will ask you to reboot the box.

Once you are back up, you should see the computer you set up the Media Buddy on in the list. If not, you can go ahead and add it using the add button. You will use the remote to navigate through most of the menu buttons.

Select the computer name, MAINRIG for us, and you will be greeted with the Media screen.

You now have the option to choose to view the Video, Music or Photos that you shared on your host computer, or you can use the Media Player to surf the Internet.

I have a lot of car videos shared on the source computer so I decided to share those. Using the remoted, you can view what you shared by selecting it.

I noticed it uses the aspect ratio that the file was encoded in, so if you have a widescreen video it will display it with the right AR.

I tried the music option next with a few albums I ripped to MP3. As soon as you select a file to play, the screen changes to a moving image with the name of the song scrolling at the bottom.
