The package comes with a pretty simple Quick Start guide with pictures. The first step is to install the software on the 'server' computer, which is basically the computer that will act as the source of your streams.
For my purposes, I already had an HTPC in the living room, but was lacking that feature in the bedroom TV set. So I am going to setup the software on my main computer that is wired into a wireless router. As long as that is connected, every wired and wireless device in the house can see each other on the network.
The software is called the Actiontec Media Buddy.

We'll go more in depth with the software side later in the review. What the Media Buddy basically does is allow you to add whatever type of media you wish that can be viewed on the Digital Player.
The next step is to plug the wireless card into the side of the player.

I opted to use the composite connections since I had an aging Sony Trinitron without many inputs. Plugged all cables into the player than wired it into the back of the TV, or if you have a receiver, you would plug it into that.

Then plug the power cord into the back of the unit.

Make sure you switch to the right video input for your TV.
