Something you can find in your kitchen:

Pros:
Cons:
First Impression:
I went to the local King Soopers (Safeway, Albertsons, Hannaford. Large Grocery Store), and found myself a $3.50 cutting board. It measures 11”x 8”, almost as big as the Ratpadz. The mouse felt pretty good on the cutting board almost like the Ratpadz and the Everglide. If you want to feel what it is like to use one of these expensive mouse pads or you want to builder your won “super pad” you may want to try this out. Just remember the results are a lot better with the Ratpadz and Everglide pads.

Well as the numbers show, the Ratpadz and Everglide pads are defiantly not a cutting board! The cutting board applied a lot of friction to the base of the mouse, while applying very little friction to the mouse ball.
