Once you have the Backlight LED Illuminators, lay them out and get them ready. They are really small, so work in a clutter free area to be safe.

Here I have inserted the LED into the circuit board in the same area we were looking at before. Get your soldering iron ready, we're going to make it count.

Once you solder the LED leads in, we're going to test it out first before reassembling it. Find a power source and plug it in:

If everything went correctly, you should see something like this:

Once it's checked, start screwing back the circuit board and place it back in the bracket. Here's a close up shot in the dark:

Conclusion - I would rate the difficulty of this project a 7 on the 1 to 10 scale. Even though this is an easy LED replacement job, unsoldering the LEDS from the PCB takes a lot of patience and steady hands. You can change it any color other than blue, just purchase the correct colored LEDs.
