Following the great success of the Poorman's Card Cooler, we're back with another guide!  This time, we tackle the problems of overclocking a video card.  To be more specific, we take our Voodoo 3 3000 to a step higher.  How well does this homemade cooler do?  Lets find out...

After a couple of minutes of idle using the retail heatsink that came with our Voodoo3, it was hot to the touch!  We tried to overclock the card which did decent, but of course decent is not enough.

Update: We use the V3 Overclock program which will add this tab to your display properties, hope this answers many of your questions : )

V3 3000 OC'd to 187 (Default is 166) using retail HS

So I decided to take this adventure a little further. Time to slap on a beefier heatsink.  I rummaged around the pile of junk I had and found one that actually seemed to fit quite well.
