Now that the paint has been given time to bond, you'll want to remove any masking material if you used it. If you have the 600grit sandpaper and want to use it, this is the time for it. Lightly sand everything and remember to remove any dust with a damp cloth or sponge. After the pieces have been given a chance to dry you can start applying the clear coat. This is done in a similar fashion to the primer and paint. This time you'll want to do four layers instead of three. You want to make sure you get that new paint job really well protected... especially the drive doors and buttons! Apply to thin coats of clear coat the second perpendicular to the first. Let it dry. DO NOT sand the clear coat between coats!
After you have clear coated all the pieces, let them sit for about 24 hours before putting them together. The clear coat will stay sticky for a while, and you don't want one piece to bond to another because you put everything together too soon. After everything has cured put your new pimpin' case back together and have fun with it! I hope you remember where you put the drive door springs a few days ago. : )

Remember me?

Don't I look nice?
