The BigRock and Iceburg are similar in size and material, both being aluminum based.  The CopperRock is copper based and a lot smaller.

Big Rock

Super Rock

Copper Rock

The BigRock and SuperRock are both machined from one block of material, while the Copper Rock has its curved fins attached to the unit instead.  Notice the slight height difference between the Super and Big Rock.

The clips are pretty basic run of the mill bars.  You definitely need a small flat screw driver to install these units on your motherboard.  It does have a small oval shield that protrudes from the clips up region.  Guess this helps give you a bit more leverage to push the clip down.

Dimensions 746442mm 747447mm 636042mm
Fan Speed 4200 RPM +/-10% 4200 RPM +/-10% 5000 RPM +/-10%

Thermal Resistance 0.52 C/W 0.49 C/W 0.53 C/W

The fan on the Copper Rock is a bit smaller at 60X60X15mm rather than the others, which have 70mm fans attached.

The Big Rock is rated up to:

  • Intel: Celeron ~ 2.2GHz (PPGA)

  • Pentium III ~ 1.2GHz (FC-PGA)

  • Pentium III Tualatin ~ 2.2GHz (FC-PGA 2)

  • AMD: Duron ~ 1.2GHz

  • Pentium III ~ 1.2GHz (FC-PGA)

  • Pentium III Tualatin ~ 2.2GHz (FC-PGA 2)
