Both of these units utilize the same speed fan running at about 5500rpms.  At the same time pumping out about 30cfms on the heatsink.

The NP80D is recommended higher than 1.6Ghz, while the smaller unit is recommended higher than 1.3Ghz.  I'll try these units out with the stock fan and slap our Delta 38CFM fan on it also to get things even.

Like always, we like to get down and dirty with our heatsinks.  Just getting temperature readings is no fun, we want to see how this thing looks and feels.

Here's a shot of the fins, notice that the smaller unit has smaller fins that are packed a lot closer to each other.  As many of you know, I love easy to use clips and these are the sh*t!  More manufacturers should use this design, it makes putting a heatsink on so much easier.  No need for any tools, you can work this onto any motherboard clip with one hand.  The T shaped clip at the end gives you very good leverage in slapping this cooler on.

Alright, the fan was off already so I decided to go ahead and just rip the damn thing apart.  These are shots of the NP80D with the curved fins.  There were only a few screws, not too hard to put it back together.

The bottom of the NP60D are polished to a remarkable shine.  There is a plastic cover that protects it from any scratches during shipment.  That smudge you see in the middle is my fingerprint, sorry!
