To start off the installation, we apply the copper shim that was supplied to us in the package, onto our CPU.

We tested this cooler out on our rig:

  • MSI K7T ProA
  • AMD Tbird 800 Mhz Socket A

We did not use the supplied 3pin-4pin adapter.  From what E-Compuvision suggested, due to the fact that some older boards have a lower3pin  voltage rating, the Delta fan may prove to be too much. Our board supported it just fine : )

   Here is our set up:

Applying the copper shim is real easy, just line up the holes and your set.

Clip the heatsink to the notches on the board and screw down the clips and your set!  No need to break out that flat headed screwdriver!
