As with all Samsung products, the design and usage of the product is easy to follow. On this unit, there is only 1 button, the Cancel button. There is nothing else to press or poke around with, everything is control through the software preferences.
The paper outputs flat and face down on the top. If you want to, you can open up the back panel and allow it to output face up, but this only allows for 1 sheet at a time. You may also opt to feed single pieces of paper through the front as opposed to using the tray.
The cartridge install is just as simple as any inkjet install. Shake the cartridge around a bit, open up the front panel, install the cartridge.
Once the cartridge has been installed, it is time to power up the printer. On the back of the unit, you will find the power connector, parallel or USB port and the power switch. We will be using the USB option.
The unit has a power save feature that comes after in-activity as well as a toner save option. This cuts down on your electric bill and ink usage during black/gray prints respectively.
