The package includes a cd-rom that contains all the software needed to customize your buttons. After installing the software, an icon is shown in your system tray that gives you some options for your mouse.

The options include mapping different commands to each individual mouse button. Other common selections include speed, cursor selection and orientation tweaking.

One of the stand out options is the use of Logitech's own WebWheel. Its a small collection of useful options that show up when pressing the scroll button down. You can navigate to your favorites, refresh the page, go back one page, stop a page and numerous other quick web shortcuts. A very useful item to have for the power surfer.
