Since the introduction of mice, people have encountered jerky movement, dust nuggets and other mechanical problems. With some innovative thinking comes the introduction of optical mice. No more parts to clean, no more need for a mouse pad. So how exactly does it compare with the age old mouse?

We review the Logitech MouseMan Wheel mice with the second generation Optical Sensor.

Some noticeable features of this mouse include:

  • A sleek design fit for your hand
  • A very easy to use scroll button that eliminates the use for scrollbars
  • Three buttons for easy clicking
  • Comes with a USB to PS2 adapter
  • Precise movement through the use of Logitech's Optical Technology

Immediately upon looking at the box, there is an advertisement for their red optical technology. There is a blinking red LED in the lower left hand corner of the box. An added advantage is that, this LED is powered by two Duracell batteries. Brand new and ready to be used somewhere else! I guess this is an added bonus for some people.
